The ART DECO TRUST drives Napier's preservation movement and its volunteer walk guides interpret its world famous city centre for visitors from all over the world.
The informative volunteer guides are the only ones who can provide the whole story of Napier, its destruction and rebirth, information about the Art Deco style and the personalities whose stories bring concrete and steel to life. They provide entertainment as well as education, their personal touch is evident, and their enthusiasm infectious.
The Art Deco Trust also holds its annual Festival on the third weekend of February which is a "not-too-serious" celebration of all things Art Deco in a programme of planes, trains, vintage cars, fashion, stage and screen, wining, dining, music and dancing!
Also, for the greatest range of Art Deco gifts, collectables and mementoes see the team in the Art Deco shop. Online shopping is also available.
Join the thousands of people who take a guided Art Deco walk each year.
